There's about a dozen new enemy types and then varieties of each, so, melee Grummites, archer Grummites, shaman Grummites, etc. The Hellhound won't give up and will chase you relentlessly across a level, and when the mutilated pooch does catch up you better be damn good at rapid circle strafing. An ogre-ish looking enemy constantly casts invisibility and stalks you, but if you lure him into the water you can locate him based on the moving ripples

Shambles become more resistant to whatever variety of magic you're throwing at them and at the same time become less resistant to another variety, so just throw some low-cost alternate stuff before thwacking them viciously with your primary spells, oh and they grow in size each time they're hit by magic, plus being living trees they're highly resistant to arrows or melee weapons I'm not the best at writing this stuff out, but I hope it all makes sense.ĮDIT: Wasn't paying attention and almost gave a slight spoiler away.- Grummites regen health when it rains or when they enter water and are also damn good at blocking in melee combat The main quest was a unique and entertaining, exciting story unlike any other quest you played before in Oblivion, the side quests were plentiful, and the new weapons and armor were so cool to obtain and use. I found the whole museum of oddities a fun addition to the craziness that was Sheogorath's realm, and the small side quests involving the various people of New Sheoth are a great way to meet all the different types of people. The people you encounter are also very diverse and interesting to talk and interact with. The atmosphere of the land, the other worldly skies, the unusual creatures, flora, and fauna all come together for a magical world that made you feel you were far, far away from the comforts of Cyrodiil.
